In past years I have cheerfully made up summer reading lists as long as my arm, but this year with a novel to edit and an atmosphere of general unpredictability to life, I’m keeping it short and sweet. Based on past experience, I’ll definitely end up reading many more books than this throughout the summer months, but I don’t want my “official” list to be in any way intimidating.
